X. gimnazija “Ivan Supek” is a public high school in Zagreb, Croatia. It is a four year high school and was founded in 1961.  It started both as a high school of mathematics and natural sciences as well as a general-education high school, preparing students for tertiary education. The curriculum of both departments enables students access to all universities. There are 1189 students, and 109 employees of which 82 are teachers, therefore, it is the largest grammar school in Croatia.
There are 42 classes of which 8 are bilingual. The bilingual programme was founded in 2007. Around 200 students, following either the mathematics and natural sciences or the general education curriculum as outlined by the Ministry of Science Education and Sports, are taught a number of subjects in English. On 29th October 2008 the school met all standards required to become a registered Cambridge International Examinations Centre HR006, thus becoming the first public school in Croatia offering IGCSE As and A level qualifications for both our students as well as for private candidates.
The Pasch project (Schools: partners for the future) aims to develop a network of at least 1000 partner schools world-wide. On 2nd February 2009 our school officially became part of the Pasch project, enabling students learning German, to participate in many various Pasch projects supported by the Goethe institute such as, summer courses, student scholarships and participation in national and international Pasch school competitions. Students can take the Fit in Deutsch 1 and Fit in Deutsch 2 international exam. The Goethe institute supports our school by also ensuring a high quality of German language teaching in a specialised multi-media classroom as well as supporting teacher training in Goethe institutes in Germany. We have been a host school for Rotary exchange students. Thus, as a school have great experience in promoting the international dimension of education, intercultural awareness and language diversity.
Many extra-curricular activities, such as readers group, drama group, school magazine „Cener“, film group, debate club, choir, volunteer group, first aid group, dance group „Cenerice“, museum group, sports  clubs, school theatre group has been offered to our students. Many of our students take part in both the national and international competitions in nearly all the subjects.
Last year, our third grade student Klara Pešić was awarded the Harvard Prize Book Award, and this year has applied to Harvard for university studies. The Harvard Prize Book Award was established in 1910 and is awarded each year in high schools all over the United States and the world. It is not a monetary award but rather an encouragement for students in their third year of high school to consider applying to Harvard for their university studies. The recipient is chosen from a pool of students recommended by their schools. The Prize Book is awarded to“the outstanding student in the next-to-graduating class who displays excellence in scholarship and high character, combined with achievement in other fields.” The board looks for students who excel in the classroom, is a good role model to fellow students, who has a passion outside the classroom, whether it be sports, the arts, or community.

Grammar School of P.J. Šafárik was founded in the 17th century in the Gemer region. The school is located in the region with high unemployment rate. The reason is that this region was originally focused on mining and agriculture. The industry, however, is in decline and many people became unemployed. Most of the students come from the middle class families and study thanks to a scholarship. Most students come from Rožňava but students from the surrounding villages attend the school, too. Grammar school of P.J. Šafárik in Rožňava focuses on general education at a four-year, five-year and eight-year study. It offers four courses which are four-year study in Slovak and Hungarian language, eight-year study and five -year bilingual study. Currently we have 17 classes, 7 classes of eight years of study, four classes of four-year study with Slovak language and 4 classes with Hungarian language. And two classes of bilingual studies. The existence of classes with Hungarian language is based on the structure of the population in the region where approximately 30% of the population is of Hungarian nationality. The school is traditionally focused on teaching foreign languages, but our students also have very good computer skills. In each class, students have the opportunity to study English, German, French, Russian and Italian. According to the choice of our students the first foreign language is English. The new education system enables us to help students develop their knowledge and skills in four blocks based on the focus of their university studies. Our school is ranked 2nd in the Košice Region. Our students every year win first ranks in the regional, national and international competitions and Olympiads. We have successfully participated in many projects such as Comenius projects, projects of Orange Foundation and two projects of OP Education and as well an Erasmus+ KA1 project.

Senior advisors have daily contacts with teachers and school staff. Based on lesson observations, advisors evaluate teachers' work according to the Agency protocols. Every year (in three cycles), ETTA organizes teacher training for all target groups in Croatian educational system, varying in models, approaches and forms (conferences, symposia, modular trainings, lectures, workshops, practice etc.).
